Points of Interconnect
To promote the expansion of broadband coverage throughout Southwestern Ontario, all SWIFT funded networks feature Points of Interconnect (POIs), which comprise fibre splice points located within vaults, pedestals or telecom enclosures located throughout the project service area, to enable third party Internet Service Providers (ISPs) access to Backhaul Services.
The tab below provides links to the Table of POIs for each County, showing latitude and longitude information, as well as the Project Name for each POI. SWIFT will update the list of POIs for each county as projects reach construction completion and are verified by SWIFT.
